St Joseph’s College feels different. We are very proud of the special ethos at St Joseph’s, an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 2 to 18, which combines strong Christian values with a unique approach to supporting and nurturing children within a family environment. We challenge all of our students to ‘be their best’ in every aspect of College life and set high standards for everyone in our community. Parents, pupils and staff work together to ensure that we produce confident pupils without arrogance, team players who will stand up for what is right and compassionate, caring members of society. You are warmly invited to visit us at our beautiful 60 acre campus in Ipswich to discover for yourself what makes St Joseph’s feel so different.

We are delighted to announce that our Head of Girls’ Rugby, Kira Reeves, has been shortlisted for a Women of the Future 2026 Award in the Sports category. Women of the Future Programme

This is a fitting recognition of the expertise, commitment and contribution that Kira brings to girls’ rugby at St Joseph’s College.

This term sees the introduction of the Girls’ Rugby Programme led by Kira, providing girls with the opportunity to develop new skills and challenge themselves.

We are incredibly proud to see Kira’s work recognised at this level, and look forward to seeing the programme flourish throughout the term.

Our warmest congratulations to Kira on this well-deserved recognition, and the very best of luck for the awards ceremony in November.

Today's assembly was anything but ordinary!

Our school came alive with wagging tails, curious noses, and plenty of excitement as our Prep students and parents welcomed their pets to a very special outdoor assembly. This was a delightful opportunity to learn from the world around us and experience the joy, responsibility and wonder that animals can bring.

It is these distinctive moments that make life at St Jo's so special; where learning is enriched by memorable experiences and a strong sense of community.

Thank you to our families, staff and students for sharing their wonderful pets with us today.
