Items to bring: Packed lunch, suitable clothing and footwear (waterproofs and football boots with plastic studs are ideal, trainers too if weather permits us to go inside the sports hall)

Another fantastic year for Sport at our school. 14 competitions won throughout the year in another brilliant trophy haul. That’s 38 competitions won in the last 2 years, amazing!
Massive well done to all the boys and girls involved throughout the year who helped us achieve so many great things again and keep showing such a passion for sport!

IPSSA Boys & Girls Champions League WINNERS 🏆🥇⚽️🥇🏆

Today our Boys & Girls Football teams took part in their respective IPSSA Champions League Tournaments. Where the winners and runners up from the small schools, medium schools and large schools leagues compete for the big one!

Incredibly, both our Boys & Girls teams won their tournaments! We make history as the first ever school to win both the boys and girls champions league in the same year.

We are also now the most successful team in this tournament across the boys and girls winning the event 5 times! (3 for boys and 2 for girls). The girls team have now won this event for the last 2 consecutive years.

Today, both teams finished in the top 2 of their groups to qualify for their finals, the Boys scored in the dying seconds to win 1-0 & the girls also scored late on to win their final 1-0. Both teams didn’t concede any goals between them across their 10 combined matches.

A fantastic achievement to win this event to go along with their respective Small Schools league wins and finish the year on such a high. A perfect send off for the Year 6s representing the school for the final time.

Well done boys and girls, we are so very proud!

Congratulations to Thomas & Alana, our Sports Boy & Girl of the year. Both of you have shown an incredible effort and ability in all sports, both brilliantly representing the school over the last few years and helping to bring so much success again.

We are also very proud to have achieved PLATINUM in the School Games mark for PE & Sport again. Demonstrating our commitment and effort as a school to have a high standard of PE and sports clubs, along with so many opportunities for the children. Well done to everyone involved, including our PE monitors Sonny & Trixie, who have fulfilled their roles fantastically this year.

IPSSA Mixed Netball Cup WINNERS 🏆🏐🥇

Our team started their Netball Cup journey back in the Autumn term, winning their 3 group games; 22-0 vs Broke Hall, 10-4 vs St Mary’s & 31-0 vs Cliff lane.
The team then went on to face Rushmere Hall in the Quarter-Finals, winning 23-0.
Up next was a Semi Final against our own B team, which finished 14-0 to the A team.

Today we played in the Final against Sidegate, both teams fully deserving to be there after winning their respective leagues and school games tournaments along with all of their cup games so far and both playing a real high standard of Netball.

In quite an incredible back and forth match, the teams were level at 7-7 after 4 regular quarters. After 2 halves of extra time and some outstanding play, we managed to win 10-8 and win the cup for the 4th consecutive year.

The Netball team have done yet another clean sweep this year, winning every possible competition at primary school level for the 4th year in a row!! Unfortunately no Netball County Finals anymore but the team won the Netball League, School Games Tournament, Woodbridge School Tournament & now the IPSSA Cup, Amazing!!

Well done girls and boys for all your hard work throughout the year.

Well done to these boys from Y3/4 who took part in a mini football tournament, playing some great football, showing great team work and even managing to go unbeaten and win 4 out of their 5 matches.

IPSSA Rounders Tournament WINNERS 🏆⚾️🥇

Our Rounders team competed with 8 other school teams on a fantastic afternoon over at Sidegate.

First the team played in an initial group stage made up of 3 teams, they won their games 11-3 & 11-1, qualifying for the winners group to decide 1st, 2nd & 3rd. After 3 incredibly tight games between the 3 teams we came out victorious to win the competition for the second successive time and for the 4th time in total.

Huge well done to all the boys and girls involved. Showing great teamwork & skill throughout the day. Massive thank you to Sidegate Primary for hosting a brilliantly well run event.
