Henley Pre-School Centre

On the last day of term we had our annual sponsored toddle waddle, the children made their Easter hats at home and they were great! . The children walked around the field followed by an Easter egg hunt and took home an Easter egg . The parents/carers made or donated cakes and bakes for our bake sale at the end.
We thank you all that sponsored your child, made cakes and purchased them . It was so lovely to see so many family and friends and thank you for your support. 😊
We raised over £700 !

We created a new area at pre-school. The children can dig, use different materials and create imagery play with the small world animals. Adding loose parts such as wooden bricks, road pieces and pipes lets the children move them around ,enhance great thinking and being creative. 😊

A big thank you who came and supported our fundraiser for Henley pre-school. A big thank you to Charity Fundraiser: Live Performance by Angry Beaver and to Dolly's Pizza Van.
It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by all.
We raised £800 which will go towards new resources for the garden. 👏👏👏

Luna new year celebrates the year of the Horse. The children tasted Chinese food, made lanterns, used horseshoes to make prints in the playdough and made lucky horseshoes.

From vets role play , jungle animals small world and creating roads, parking spaces and garages for their cars. This is great for all children to mark make, draw lines and the older children were able to write numbers and copy words found on the cars.👍

£50 deposit secures your child’s place ( this is only refundable when your child takes the place and the funding is secured) .

Working parents of 9 month - 4-year-old children must apply for or reconfirm their funded childcare code before the deadline of 31 December 2025. Remember, it can take up to 7 days to be approved.

Codes with start dates from 01 January 2026 will not be eligible for funding in the Spring Term.

That’s Christmas 2025 Done! Thank you to all of the parents and carers that support the Pre-school. Our Christmas performance was lovely and the children did so well singing and dancing . We raised approximately £500 from the raffle and cake stall .
We wish you all a very happy Christmas and a happy new year .
We are back on Monday 5th January 2026 .
