Ballet Lessons Begin Tomorrow!

We’re delighted to share that our ballet lessons with the lovely Miss Rebecca begin tomorrow, and will take place in the Explorers Room every Thursday during term time.

The EYFS-aligned government guidance states:

“Children aged 1–5 years should aim for at least 180 minutes (3 hours) of physical activity per day, including a variety of active play such as dancing.” (nhs.uk, gov.uk)
Ballet offers a wonderful way to meet this guideline—through joyful, movement-rich sessions that support children’s physical development, coordination, and creative expression.

Parents, please don’t worry if your little one doesn’t attend on a Thursday— we’re looking at a variety of different extra experiences that may be added in the future.

In September 2025, 15 hours for working parent families with children under 3 will expand to 30 hours, meaning eligible working families will be able to claim 30 hours of funded childcare per week (for 38 weeks of the year) from the term after their child turns 9 months old.
