Support and Services for Parents: There are currently two key support services provided by FOIS

Class Reps There are FOIS Class Reps in place for every class in all school years from nursery to year 7. The Class Reps offer support to parents in each class with practical reminders about the need to bring in ties, fancy dress days, gathering volunteers etc and coordinating opportunities to get together

Secondhand Uniform and Kit Sales: The FOIS coordinate sales for both the Prep and Senior Schools. These provide parents with the opportunity to donate, buy, sell and uniform and kit that is no longer needed and help raise funds to support the School.

Fundraising: FOIS events and activities are often coupled with fundraising initiatives. Funds raised are used used to: support the School in providing pupils with opportunities and experiences in support of a rich and varied education; support local, educational or children focussed charities; and a small proportion are used for the administrative costs of running the Friends’ activities.

Perhaps you fancy being a Class Rep, helping out with sales, joining the committee or developing and hosting a social event ... There’s lots to do and we always look to have fun along the way - we are not interested in adding to anyone’s list of chores! Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have an idea for an event or activities that can bring the School community together or support parents and the School.
