Sandpipers and Avocets visited the School Farm & Country Fair at the Suffolk Show grounds. We explored the livestock area, saw a range of farm animals, and learned about their care. We also visited the emergency services zone, where some of our pupils had the opportunity to sit in a fire engine and learn about the roles of the police and fire service. In the conservation zone, we explored beekeeping, woodland conservation, and British wildlife. It was a valuable learning experience for

Lots of the children and staff enjoyed World Book Day last Thursday. There were some fabulous costumes, and some staff and pupils threw themselves into character.

The children had plenty of opportunities to share their favourite books with one another.

The Beyond Labels Exhibition is now open at the Hold.
The exhibition celebrates the lived experience of people with disabilities in Suffolk.
There is a cabinet with artefacts taken from the Thomas Wolsey archives and a collection of AAC devices kindly on loan from Steph Stollery who has worked as a SALT technician for many years.
