The children were fantastic and had a great time.
Thank you to the PFA who put on a fantastic event for all YR6 pupils, with drinks, pick and mix, crisp wall, donut table, DJ and Photo Booth free of charge.

After our incredible YR6 disco on Friday, we are selling the excess sweets, crisps, drinks and icepoles as a tuck shop afterschool each day on the playground.

This week, Kicks & Tricks have been in school. While its been scorching on our playground, we have been able to make sure everyone gets some sports enrichment by careful timetabling and having cool rooms on site to use if needed. This was especially important to us to manage and mitigate with the cancellation of sports day. Moving forward, sports day will be earlier in the year but we are pleased to have been able to make Kicks & Tricks happen for the children in the mean time. 🌞🌞🌞

Some of our incredible Year 5 children represented SJS in a CET trust rounders tournament last week. The children were absolute super stars and Mr Yaxley-Griffifths was beaming with pride about our childrens behaviour, manners and sportsmanship. Well done Year 5!🏏🏏🏏

Mrs Watson and her Thrive group have been exploring different emotions and positive ways to manage them. As part of their learning, they made their own stress ball people. What a fun and creative way to support emotional wellbeing. 😊

Thank you to everyone who supported our recent book fair. Your purchases have provided us with £269.72 to spend on new books for the school library ready for September!

Ice poles will be available on the playground afterschool today.
We have to give a huge shoutout to Stoke Park Asda for donating some Ice Poles to keep us well stocked over the last few weeks of term. Thank you! ❄❄❄

Today the whole of YR6 are making and decorating cakes to support the fundraising efforts of the PFA.
Cakes will be available to buy from the playground today after school. Proceeds will be used to buy snacks for their Leavers Disco next week!🧁🧁🧁
