Last week Ipswich MP Jack Abbott visited Springfield and spoke with our school council. We have been lucky enough to have been granted some funding from his party to update our heating system and fire doors. It was an excellent experience for our school councillors who were incredibly engaged and asked lots of great questions!

Arts and Crafts club has been such an amazing addition to our extra-curricular offer. The ladies from the PFA have planned and resourced a range of fun and creative activities for all ages to enjoy. 🫶

Every Friday, until the end of term the PFA will be selling ice poles on the playground at home time. We are calling this 'Freezie Fridays'

Father's Day cake raffle tickets are on sale again this week at hometime everyday, apart from Thursday! Come and see us ! We have a card reader now, so no need to wait until you have cash! 🍰🍰🍰

This week Year 3 travelled back to Roman times and had a fabulous time! They made shields, handled Roman artefacts, marched as soldiers, learnt about Roman battle formations, and created Roman peg-doll soldiers. A fantastic day of hands-on history learning! 🛡

After the success of our Mother's Day raffle, the PFA are running a similar one for Father's Day! This time we will be only doing live sales on the playground this time, but we do have a new card reader for those who do not carry cash!
We will be on the playground everyday apart from Thursdays.
Tickets are 50p each and the raffle will be drawn on FB live on Friday 19th June! Come see us from 15.10 today!
We cannot wait to welcome our students back into school bright and early tomorrow morning! See you then! 🌞
