SC Tutoring

SC Tutoring I'm Shona. I am a fully qualified secondary English teacher with 16 years of experience.

As well as working at a school in Ipswich, I offer one-to-one support to KS3, GCSE and A Level students for their English Language and Literature lessons.

Currently only one space left for a September start date. The GCSE exam boards that I tutor are AQA for Language and Literature, Edexcel Literature and Eduquas/WJEC Language. For A Level, I only cover AQA Literature.

Why do I tutor face to face and not online? I, personally, feel that I am able to work with my students more successfully when they are with me. This is not to criticise online tutoring, which can work very well. This is a personal choice of mine.
If you are looking for face to face English tutoring for your child, get in touch. Places are limited for September.

Two slots available for GCSE/A Level English tutoring in September.

As we creep closer to the exams, don't think you are too late if you are looking for a little more support. You night want to commit to weekly sessions, bi-weekly sessions or one or two focused hours on a particular section. Feel free to message me for a chat.

It's been a busy first term. If anyone is looking for GCSE English Language and/or Literature tutoring, in the New Year, feel free to message for an informal chat about your needs.

This message made me so happy. Students work so hard and when they get what they deserve, it makes it all worth the long hours. So very proud to have helped in any way.

Anyone looking for English Language or Literature tutoring, I have two spaces available from September.

Good luck to all getting their GCSE results today. Remember how hard you worked for this.

It's been quite a while since I have posted. Very busy summer, taking my children to Disneyland, 24/7 entertainment and cleaning duties. Now that they are a little bit older, it has been easier. Hope all the parents and carers out there are enjoying the beautiful weather we are getting.

September sessions will be released very soon. If you want to get in touch and talk about how I can help, before booking anything, please do.

Quite a few inquiries recently asking if we can speak before booking anything. Of course! I am happy to arrange a phone call or chat via message to go through exactly how I can help.
