That was a brilliant Deaf Awareness Training session with the staff members at Network Rail in London. Celebrating National Inclusion Week, they are certainly breaking down barriers and becoming confident in communicating with Deaf people! Truly proud of them!

Luke who is my Deaf brother and his 14 year old son Jack is doing a fundraiser for the Charity that I support. They are doing an incredible 30 miles walk from their home to Ipswich and not just in the daytime but through the night! What an epic challenge that is! Wow! That was a brilliant 3-week training course at St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich! Everyone was inspired to learn British Sign Language so they could communicate with their inpatients/families who are Deaf. Hats off to them I say!

Wowsa! That was an awesome 3 week training course at St Helena Hospice in Colcheser. All their staff are truly so lovely and it had been a real pleasure to teach them British Sign Language so they could communicate with their Deaf inpatients. High Five to them!

What a brilliant 3-weeks BSL course that was at Aldeburgh in Suffolk where over 20 people came to learn British Sign Language. They are now able to apply their newly learned BSL skills in everyday life within their voluntary and professional careers! They are certainly breaking down barriers!

What an amazing privilege it was to speak at Parliament! Truly our finest hour as members of the BSL Advisory Board working for the Government. Let us hope that following the release of our report, they will now step up and break down all barriers in our everyday lives!
