Here are some of our faves from Day 1 of camp 🎭

What a fantastic show the kids put on, we are so proud of every single one of them! Here are a few of our favourite snaps from the week. We were so busy we didn't get any photos from the show itself, if anyone has any, we would love to see them!

⭐️⭐️ Make way for our final scholarship winner, Zara, who will be playing the role of Sherrie. Yet another triple threat performer on our team, Zara particularly impressed us with her accent work and we can't wait to see her on stage ⭐️⭐️

Zara tells us, “Sherrie has been a dream role for me since I watched the musical and it is absolutely unreal to be able to play her. I am beyond grateful for ESSA and super excited to start with this amazing production!“

⭐️⭐️ Meet our next fabulous scholarship player, Ethan, who will be playing the role of Dennis ⭐️⭐️

We were impressed by Ethan’s performance in all three disciplines, a triple threat performer for sure. Ethan shares with us

“I am looking forward to meeting new people, experiencing new ideas and movements. I’m also really looking forward to being on stage and experiencing a musical”

⭐⭐ Introducing our next scholarship winner, the incredibly talented Lara, who will be playing the role of Franz. ⭐⭐

We were impressed with Lara's confident stage presence in her audition. Here's what she has to say:

“As soon as I knew I was successful with the audition, I began to immerse myself in the music and imagine becoming the character I am going to play!! I am excited for the magic of the live performance, bright lights, and bringing joy to the audience through acting, singing and dancing”

⭐️⭐️ congratulations to our first talented scholarship winner, Grace! ⭐️⭐️ Grace wowed us with her strong vocal skills and we can’t wait to see her play the part of Stacee Jaxx. Grace shares with us
“I am looking forward to getting onto the stage and giving my all by making people laugh, and getting into the character of Stacee as best I can. I’m also extremely excited to learn new acting skills, whilst using ones I already know to get closer to my full potential”
