Martlesham Preschool

As the end of our school term approaches we want to celebrate the wonderful year we have had. From lots of new learning opportunities, outings and visits from the community, we have been really lucky to see and explore what we have done this year

We have enjoyed visits from the dentist, fire service, vets, mini beasts, chicks. We loved an outing to the farm, library, church, local market and supermarkets. Our children have explored our Preschool community, and our confidence has grown🌳

We want to thank our wonderful families for their continuous support, and we will continue to grow as a preschool family☺️

At Martlesham Preschool we have focused our learning on 'Healthy Choices',

During the week we learnt about various fruits and vegetables, we explored where these grow, what they need to grow, and we even tasted them🍎🫑🥕

We visited the local fruit and vegetable market where we picked produce to try with our peers during our afternoon snack time. They were delicious😊

We are watching our own caterpillars grow into butterflies🐛🦋
So we read the story of the hungry caterpillar, and then explored the food the hungry caterpillar ate, and even fed them ourselves.

We have had a lovely week of learning all about staying healthy😊

Last week @ Martlesham Preschool, we embarked on a new adventure to the farm🚌

We loved seeing the animals and having the chance to feed, stroke and even cuddle them🐣🐰

We explored the nature trail, and took part in some pond dipping🐸

It was a lovely day out and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves☺️

Meet the Team😃
This is Elsa our Apprentice she is currently completing her Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification. Elsa loves to support the children with art and mark making, you will often find her mark making with the children. She also enjoys engaging with the children during play. Be sure to say Hello to Elsa, and thank her for the excellent job she does🥰
