Play Out Holiday Club

What a busy half term Holiday Club... We had some special visits this half term, a Princess joined us for a special afternoon tea and 4 Alpaca's, 2 of which were babies from Hilly Ridge Farm. Jo spent some time talking to the children about where they come from, their fur and what food. The children were lucky enough to take a piece of their fur home to share with their families. The children got to feed the alpaca's and take them for a little walk around the nursery garden. Everybody LOVED the Alpaca visit and we cannot wait to have them visit again!

🥚 Egg Smashing 🥚

This week we have been collecting egg shells to complete an exciting, creative activity.

The children filled the egg shells with paint and took it in turns to throw the filled eggs at a blank canvas.
The children cheered one another when it was their turn. Different techniques were used, over head throw, under arm throw.
The children were encouraging their friends to throw the eggs harder. One child said 'stand back, i'm going to be like the hulk'.
