âWill has been teaching my 8 year old son on weekly basis for almost 2 years now. He is a superb teacher and the lessons are enjoyable and a pace perfect for him. He looks forwards to the lessons and it is fascinating to see his progress in a relatively short space of time.â

An oldie but still relevant! In my opinion, knowledge of your equipment is just as important as the music you play.
I like to use gauge 10 strings on my electric guitars, 12s on my acoustics, round and flatwound bass strings, and size 7a drum sticks.
Share what you like to use in the comments section. W

When I'm asked what my favourite guitar pedal is, I always say "My tuner pedal!" It's not the most interesting of effects (it's not even an effect!), but it's the most important pedal on my board, because to play great - you've got to play in tune!
My favourite tuners are those made by Boss, and they've now created a FREE new tuner app (based on their classic pedal design) to help you keep in tune on the move! Available via all app platforms, you can find out more about it here:
Maggie shows her disapproval of my current pedalboard...
