On Thursday 20th April, Years 3 and 4 went to the School Farm and Country Fair at Trinity Park where we were lucky enough to meet The Duchess of Edinburgh. We all had a fantastic time.

World Book Day Thursday 2nd March 2023

This year as a school, we will be focusing on the book “The Colour Monster”. This books links in really nicely with the “Zones of regulation” - which is something we are beginning to use in our school to help children regulate their emotions. We will be doing lots of activities on the day, linked with this book, as well as having a chance to just explore and celebrate the love of reading!
We would like your child to come to school dressed in one of the following colours on this day: red, blue, yellow, black, green, pink or rainbow. This is because “The Colour Monster” and “Zones of Regulation” are all about how a colour represents different feelings!

Please don’t feel you need to go out to buy something especially, anything in one of the colours that you already have at home will be fine!

Good morning!

Tomorrow afternoon (Friday 14th) at pickup please come over and see us on the playground.

All our current (non branded) uniform stock is going to be out and available for parents to access for absolutely no charge. We will be very happy to help you find what you need.

You may of course make a donation if you wish , but it’s entirely optional. We hope this will help a little with rising costs this winter.

If you aren’t able to be at pickup on Friday, feel free to ask a friend to pick something up for you! If you can’t, and would like something specific, please message us at [email protected] with what you’re after, and we will do our best to help.

If you have any pre loved uniform that you would like to pass to the PTA we are always very grateful. Please send it in with your child in a bag marked ‘for the PTA’. Branded / logo items are always very much in demand.

See you tomorrow!

PARENTMAIL SENT

I have taken the decision to close the school today, due to the updated Met Office ‘Red’ warning for Storm Eunice in Ipswich.

We have not received a red warning before (this is an extremely rare event, according to the Met Office). It is important to us that our families and staff do not put themselves at risk by travelling to school.

Please stay safe.

This year, rather than giving something up, we are thinking about what we can do for others.
