My name is Anthony Archer, I have been studying traditional Wing Chun for almost 19 years. I originally trained in Clacton under Master Frank Roach for 11 years, while there I also taught weekly classes for five years to students of all ages and skill levels. Once I moved to Ipswich I began training under Master Matthew Robins of Evergreen Hall Kung Fu and also in the role of Assistant Instructor. With the decision to close the school in 2021 I have decided to continue on my Kung Fu journey by running my own classes here in Ipswich. Students will learn hand to hand, ground defence, self defence strategies, fighting chi sau, defence against weapons all the other main aspects of Wing Chun kung fu. While making new friends and developing the discipline, awareness and skills that will enable them to confidently keep themselves safe in our modern society. Costs and clothing. The first two lessons are free for new students and we welcome all skill, fitness and experience levels. Lessons can be paid for in two ways, by monthly direct debit the cost is £25 pcm. For students who wish to pay by the lesson, the fee is £10 per session. Medical conditions:
As the main Instructor I am a qualified first aider and also have a full DBS certificate. If you have any existing needs or medical conditions please let me know. This information will be kept in confidence and any physical needs will be accommodated as best as is practicable. We are a fully inclusive club and open to students of all races, gender identities and walks of life. The venue has easy access and a large bathroom available should it be needed for changing clothing or other needs. I am also insured as required to run a martial arts club.
