For me, teaching hairdressing has never been only about hair. 🫶🏻
Yes, I teach cutting, colouring and professional techniques — but before we work on any of that, I want to understand the person sitting in front of me. 💖
Every student arrives with a different story. Some are excited, some are nervous, and some have spent years believing they are not confident, talented or brave enough to begin.
This is where my work really starts. ☺️
I take time to understand each student’s fears, emotions and personal barriers. We work through them together, step by step, before expecting the hands to master the technique.
Because people learn differently.
They grow at different speeds.
And they deserve to be taught as individuals. 🙏
I have spent many years exploring personal development, emotions and the way our inner world affects our confidence. Bringing this understanding into hairdressing education has become one of the most important parts of my academy.
I don’t want my students to leave simply knowing how to do hair.
I want them to trust their hands, believe in their abilities and feel strong enough to build a future of their own. 🔥
Weronika Rej Hairdressing Academy is a small, personal and supportive academy in Ipswich, offering CPD Accredited hairdressing education in both English and Polish.
