I have been a qualified baby massage class leader for 5 years starting as a community nursery nurse with the Garioch health visiting team. I carried out classes for families within the health care centre and within the homes of families in different areas around Garioch area. Through a change of job I began working within Aberdeen neonatal unit as a baby massage class leader. offering one-to-one o

r group sessions to the families within the unit and sometimes going up to the wards with the families that were discharged back to the floors but still wished to have their session. Baby massage, to me, and many others, helps to create and develop that bond made between baby and mother, father, carer, grandparents, in the first instant. From there with the knowledge that the families gain from taking part in the classes/sessions, allows you to help your baby. Sooth their pain from colic or teething, or just enjoy that special time with your little miracles. Life gets in the way far too many times, one moment they are your little bundles of joy, you blink and they are walking, talking and exploring. Use the experience of baby massage to cement that bond, a special moment created and experienced for you and your baby.

Hey there everyone, sorry for the silence. After a bout of long term illness Baby Massage by Nicola is back for its last time. I have 2 classes running at kemnay Village Hall. I have a limited availability for these 2 last classes. Each class will be a block of 4. If anyone is interested then please do get in touch and I will be happy to let you know more. I know with Christmas around the corner everything seems to go so fast at this time of year. Take some time for you and your little one. 1 block will be held on Mondays giving you time to drop off any older siblings at nursery or school and the other block will be held on Sundays giving both parents/carers the opportunity to come and learn a new skill together or individually. Both blocks giving you a life long skill that will help your little one grow and develop connections that will last a lifetime. (Permission was gained at the time of taking the photos for them to go up on the page)

I absolutely love this. Baby massage has a wealth of benefits for both baby and parents, and with new classes starting up on Tuesday the 9th of November and thursday the 11th of November I'm so excited to help parents learn a new skill and babies relax and have symptoms of colic, upset tummies, and teething to name but a few.
