📣 A Heartfelt Message from Garioch Music Tuition (formerly Kingfisher Music Ltd) 📣

This post is one I’ve been putting off, but the time has come to share it properly.

After nearly a decade in Aberdeenshire, Garioch Music Tuition will no longer be offering music lessons. The business has now come to a close as Davis moves forward into something new.

From 2018 to 2025, hundreds of lessons, countless laughs, the odd broken string, and so many proud moments — teaching here has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life. Watching students find their confidence, fall in love with music, and grow year after year has been something I’ll always carry with me.

To every parent who trusted me, to every student who put in the effort, and to everyone who supported the business in any way at all: thank you. You gave this wee local music school its heart and soul.

Although Garioch Music Tuition is ending, your musical journeys don’t have to.
If you’re looking for lessons, I can wholeheartedly recommend Barry Carroll-One Lad Music. Barry is a brilliant tutor and a genuinely good guy with great craic— you’ll be in great hands.

Thank you again for those unforgettable years.
