It’s Childminding Week and I’m so excited to celebrate with lots of fun, laughter, and adventures with my little ones! 🥰

To kick off the week, I wanted to share a few reasons why I absolutely love being a childminder. I’d also love for my past, present, and future families to share in the comments what you love most about childminding too! 🤩

❤️ I love having a small, home-from-home setting where I really get to know each child and family personally. Smaller ratios mean I can give every child the individual care, attention, and support they deserve.

❤️ I love the freedom to make every day an adventure! Whether I’m planning exciting activities around learning and development or following the children’s interests and imaginations, no two days are ever the same.

❤️ I love the wonderful friendships I’ve built with other childminders, and seeing the lovely friendships grow between our little mindees too!

Being part of each child’s journey is such a privilege, and I’m so grateful to do a job I truly love every single day 🥰

Aberdeenshire Council consults every two years on Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) provision to help shape future services. Your feedback helps planning the next ELC delivery plan for Aberdeenshire.

We’re looking for input from families who:
👶 Have previously accessed ELC in Aberdeenshire (for children up to 12)
🧒 Are currently using ELC services
🤰 Will use ELC in the future - including expectant parents

🗓 The Early Learning and Childcare Parental Consultation is open until Wednesday, January 7.
