Happy New Year to all . Special thanks to all those in the emergency services, retail, hospitality and transport who have allowed the rest of us to enjoy the last two weeks. Many of these staff have families themselves but worked on Christmas Day etc to look after us. If you were out and/or needed support we hope you gave the staff the same respect you would want from your managers.

Unite Against Fascism
Inverness and District Trades Council support the refugees but call for the Home Office to hold a public meeting in Inverness with representatives of Highland Council, NHS Highland, Police Scotland, local community councils and trade unions to answer all the questions that they have so far failed to answer. The Scottish Government should also be included.

Happy 2025 to all. Please remember those working in the NHS, Fire, Police, other emergency services and also to our retail and hospitality staff. They all go above and beyond at this time of year to serve us so please treat them all with respect, they deserve it and must not be abused by customers.
Merry Christmas to all. Please remember and treat with the greatest respect all those working in hospitality, the public services and retail. Without them we would not survive
