With so much news and information out there about stem cells and potential stem cell treatments we have found that many of you would like to chat face to face with people working in the area. To help us with our work we'd also like to hear your questions about the science and discuss what you think. So, during the Summer and Autumn of 2013 we are holding community and festival events around Scotla

Baxter's festival of running. 07/10/2014

The public engagement team and researchers from Edinburgh, Aberdeen and even Exeter came along to help out! The weekend involved engaging about stem cells (including the sporty ones- which were put to use). Sunday was 'run day', with some doing the 5k and others 10k, one brave researcher managed to do the marathon with a great time of 3.26hrs!

Fort William: University of the third age 07/10/2014

Intern/PhD student Vanessa De Mello and Artist in residence Hamer Dodds took a trip up to Fort William! They combined different types of science communication to get the stem cell message moving.
