ATTENDANCE MATTERS
We posted about attendance last month and again now because we believe every day at school matters. Strong attendance helps pupils to develop the skills and knowledge they need to achieve their full potential.
Missing even a small amount of school can have a significant impact on learning over time. By attending regularly and arriving on time, pupils are better able to keep up with lessons, develop positive routines, and make the most of every opportunity available to them.
We know there are times when ill health and other issues prevent attendance at school and we are sympathetic to this. We are keen to work with you to overcome barriers to attendance. Please contact your child’s Guidance teacher if you wish to discuss any aspect of your child’s attendance.
