It is unfortunate that our research study on Mellow Babies is closing. However we are excited to share that Mellow Parenting (the organisation who developed the Mellow Programmes) are planning to run an online group very soon and would love to hear from you! This would be a great opportunity to connect with other mums, particularly if in-person groups would be difficult for you to attend.

WE ARE CLOSING

We are sad to announce that we are having to close down the Mellow Babies Trial. The Covid-19 pandemic had a big impact on the progress of the trial as we had to stop delivering groups for nearly 2 years. Unfortunately, we have not been given the extra funding that was needed to continue with our research.

We will be writing to update everyone who has participated in the trial, but will not be conducting any follow-up visits with participants. We will not be recruiting any more participants or delivering any more Mellow Babies groups.

We would like to express a huge thank you to all the mums who have participated in the trial, to all the referring practitioners, and to everyone who has supported our work. While we may not be able to answer all of the research questions that we initially hoped to be able to answer, we will work hard to make sure that all the information and learning that we have gathered is used to help inform future delivery of Mellow Babies, and other similar programmes.

Although the trial is stopping, Mellow Parenting (the organisation who developed Mellow Babies) will continue to deliver Mellow Babies and are planning some online groups in the near future. ⭐New Mellow Babies online group⭐ starting after the Easter holidays. This group run by Mellow Parenting would be a great way to connect with other mums and access parenting support without having to travel for an in-person group.
