I created my online learning programme because after teaching for over 25 years and tutoring 1:1 for over 15 years I realised that tuition is not affordable, convenient or practical for everyone who would, and could, benefit from additional help. So I set about creating a solution that would be affordable, convenient and practical. I started my online learning programme in January 2026 after years of researching and testing so many resources. Since January 2026 my students using this programme have answered 63,421 questions and spent over 371 hours learning!
With my online learning programme the first thing your child will do is to work through the online assessment programme which pinpoints very accurately the level of understanding that your child has. I will then allocate lessons based on where their actual level of understanding is. The lessons are supported by videos, games and activities. This independent online learning programme has a high level of engagement and your child can do as much, or as little as you/they want... when you/they want... where you/they want, how you want.

I know it has been a while since I updated about my online platform... so here is the update:
Since January 6th my students using my online platform for learning have answered 57,935 questions! Plus they have spent 328 hours learning and making progress.

Most of my students are working on developing their English and Maths skills - however, I do plan and deliver the whole of the Curriculum for Excellence. Part of the Curriculum for Excellence Experiences/Outcomes and Benchmarks covers
RELATIONSHIPS, SEXUAL HEALTH AND PARENTHOOD (RSHP). If you feel that you would like me to plan a block of work for your child please just let me know. Quite often this learning is something that can be too embarrassing for some to access with their peers and sometimes parents opt out of their children taking part in these lessons in the school setting (for a number of different reasons). Any learning will be done in a sensitive way with full openness and transparency with parental information shared before sessions begin.

Thank you for everyone’s patience while I took time off to cover for my job share at school. I am restarting my full tuition services on Monday 20th April.
