To all my Kumon students,
A big well done to all of you for continuing with your daily Kumon studies during these challenging times.
Most of you are attending the online class with me regularly therefore feel like sharing that we have completed "50" consecutive days of online sessions from 21/03/2020 - 09/05/2020.
Special thanks to all the Kumon parents for their continuing support and extra efforts in terms of marking the work and making arrangements that made these virtual classroom sessions a success!!
I do hope we can go back to our regular Kumon classes soon, but till then I'm available for support/guidance via online/virtual means.
For any queries/concerns, contact me on 07813004642.
Keep safe everyone!!

James McCann
James: When I first started Kumon, my abilities weren’t very strong, but Kumon has helped to improve my math skills and I really enjoy seeing myself improve.

Dad: I decided to enrol James into Kumon because his ability in mathematics seemed to be going backwards instead of forwards. Kumon has helped James gain confidence in numbers and he is rapidly improving. I would describe the Kumon method as simple, effective and repetitive. I hope that he will be able to enter secondary education at the appropriate level for his age thanks to his Kumon studies.

Riffat(Instructor): In 6 months, I have seen improvements in his math skills and his times tables have become quick and accurate. Well Done James.

To all my Kumon students,
Due to the coronavirus, we unfortunately can't run our classes as usual but this doesn't mean that we can't stay in touch. We have started to use Zoom as a virtual Kumon class so that I can still see you doing your Kumon homework. This virtual class will take place on a daily basis and get in touch with the instructor on the number 07813004642 and she will send you your time and all the details on how to join it.
Kind regards
Riffat Fatima(Kumon Inverness Instructor)

Aaron Laws
Aaron: When I started Kumon, my abilities were very low and I struggled with my times tables. To me, the thing I enjoy most about Kumon is once you understand something and can complete it efficiently. I would want to become a teacher and the maths would help because I would need a broad range of skills with maths.

Mum: It is a great way of teaching kids that regular practise really does help. I think that the daily commitment puts the parents off, but is definitely worth it when you see the results especially since maths at school can be very limited whereas at Kumon if your child is progressing well, they can still get challenged.

Riffat(Instructor): Across the period of 5 ¾ years, you have improved tremendously in your maths. I still remember the confused looks on your face when you see the new work, but thanks to your hard work you are able to do work way beyond the work for your expected age. It’s nice to see you with a confident smile on your face now. Well Done Aaron.

Fraser and Arran Trigg
Fraser: Before Kumon, I struggled with my handwriting and could only read ‘letters’. Now I enjoy reading and am a lot better at writing.

Arran: I remember struggling with maths in school and Kumon has now taught me everything I know.

Mum: This enables my children to learn maths and english in a format that is set to their level and allows them to progress in a steady fashion.

Riffat(Instructor): When you both started out, I remember how low your self-confidence was and how you used to end up in tears at times, but now I am proud that in just 1 years time you have changed so much and it’s so nice to see confident smiles on your faces when you both walk into class. Well done Fraser and Arran.

Beau and Skye Fraser
Beau: Kumon has helped me remember my sums at school and helps me at school when I get a ‘Kumon sum’. And I want to be lots of different things, like a Police officer.
Skye: I can count in my head and do not need my fingers any more thanks to Kumon. And I want to become a vet and artists not sure yet.

Mum: I think the method is brilliant and the repetition is great. Both my girls have improved number recognition, counting and mental addition. Well, all think that Riffat is a caring and strict instructor.

Riffat (Instructor): In just a few months, your handwriting has improved and you are now understanding maths a lot better. Well Done Skye and Beau.

Sarah Goldie

Sarah: When I started Kumon, my abilities were very limited and it has helped me with school and become top of my class. This has also made me have a love for maths and I want to do something with maths and Kumon has given me skills that will help me with that.

Mum: Kumon is a very good programme-quite remarkable. It has improved her maths skills beyond expectations. The confidence that she has gained from Kumon has leaked into other subjects.

Riffat(Instructor): It has been a pleasure working with you for over 2 years and I remember how challenging basic concepts were for you back then and now it amazes me how well you can even do simultaneous equations without my help. Well done Sarah for all your hard work and for helping other Kumon students in class.

Millie Mackenzie
Millie: Kumon has helped me a lot with my times tables. I would also like to become a vet and good English and Maths skills will help me achieve this.

Mum: Millie is doing super and we are very proud of her adding, subtracting and multiplication. This has boosted her confidence, by passing on knowledge and helping others. For Millie, school is a place where she socializes and learns, but Kumon is her main education for maths.

Riffat(Instructor): Well done Millie for working so well on your maths for 1 ½ years now and you’re doing very good at your times tables and I feel so proud, how confidently you come and attend class on your own.
