Birthday adventures for those turning 3+ are very popular with all children. This birthday girl chose to "go to a river".

A flooded & frozen driveway, a quest to find where the water came from, lots of puddle play, a call to to report the leak we found at the top of our road, curious questions about where our tap water and ice comes from. Challenges inevitably lead to play & learning opportunities.

Crisp cold Autumn days are for exploring and for a rest with a view...
