Inverness floorball is looking for players, whether you are new to stick sports or have played ( field hockey, ice hockey, shinty etc) floorball has lots to offer:
In terms of physical health and exercise, it can be fast paced (cardio), physical but non contact, good for hand eye co-ordination and also agility.
Benefits to mental health include, connection in the team sport aspect, as well as social connection, Stress Regulation through endorphins, better sleep via being active, Cognitive sharpness through decision making and usage of skills.
Training sessions are open to all and available every Friday at Millburn Academy from 8pm-9pm, requirements are simply gym clothing and a water bottle, we have sticks to get you started.

We've been a bit quiet on the old socials lately, with that said floorball is on every Friday from 20:00 to 21:00 in the main games hall at Milburn academy.
This past weekend saw another of our rising talented junior players; Hamish Grant meet up with fellow U16 players/teamates from Hawick Hawks Floorball Club to take part in the UK Junior Floorball Nationals in Cheltenham. Hamish now joins both Richard Karlisons, Dylan Grant and even Coach Freimanis in playing for the successful Hawick Club. The Hawks have had yet another very successful year and as a result had one more crucial mission to bring this years floorball calendar to a close, the Nationals...
The Jnr Hawks had 3 Teams, U13 & U16 & U19 who travelled to near London for the games on Sunday. This was the U13s first appearance at the nationals and they put everything into their games as did the older age groups resulting in both U16's and U19's claiming the title of British Champions!! Once again the silverware and titles come back to Scotland!! Some effort boys and girls, really well done :) a huge thank you to Craig Girvan and Adam Rutkowski all at the hawks who make this happen.

The last training (in house game) for the year is upon us, tonight at Millburn Academy from 8pm-9pm. We will be joined by our friends from Kirkhill for a mixed game. Floorball in Inverness will return on Friday 10th of Jan.
