We are grateful to partners including:
🔹 Colleges, staff, and student associations
🔹 National specialist services and third sector organisations
🔹 Sector bodies and equality networks
🔹 Organisations including EmilyTest, SFC, R**e Crisis Scotland, White Ribbon Scotland, Amina MWRC, and others

CDN and Colleges Scotland are delighted to launch new toolkit ‘Creating Safer Colleges: A practical toolkit to strengthen college responses to GBV and harassment.’
Developed collaboratively with colleges, stakeholders, and specialist partners, this new resource brings together practical guidance and expertise to support prevention, response, and support across the sector.
The toolkit builds on the findings of our recent survey report, Colleges’ Approach to Tackling Gender-based Violence and Harassment (launched 7 March 2025), and responds directly to the needs identified by colleges across Scotland.
It reflects a shared commitment to fostering learning and working environments where all students and staff feel respected, included, and able to participate fully in college life.
