Westdyke leisure centre will be holding parent and toddler sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays in the main hall starting Monday 24th August 2026

Denman pre-school is open Monday - Friday 8am-3pm. ( term-time only)

We have Funded and private spaces available from August 2026

Denman pre-school has been providing care to the children in the community for over 33 years.

Children can attend our pre-school from aged 2 years until they attend primary school.

At Denman pre-school we provide a safe, stimulating, & caring environment where your child can play,learn & grow.

We spend most of our sessions in our outdoor environment as we believe playing outside gives your child the chance to explore the natural environment and have their own adventures.

Your child will be given the opportunity to test their physical limits, express themselves and build their self confidence.

Funded spaces available Monday - Friday 8am-2pm or 9-3 (includes snack and lunch) you also have the option to pay for an extra hour.

We also have fee paying spaces available.

The children have been busy making bird feeders for our garden this morning in the hope the birds visit and will nest in our bird boxes like they have done in the past 2 years.

Children can benefit from learning about nature and the natural world, by exploring more about the birds they see: what they choose to eat from the different feeders offered in the garden.

Listening to bird song and even hearing the wind blowing through trees is good for a child’s mental health.
