A reminder of the 9am start time for our new P1 pupils tomorrow

We are excited and looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school tomorrow.
Here are the doors we will be using for our classes this year:

P1 - Infant playground (rear) door
P2 - ELC entrance door
P3 - Middle playground (quadrangle) door
P4 - Middle playground (quadrangle) door
P5 - Senior playground (adjacent to portacabin) door
P6 - Senior playground (adjacent to portacabin) door
P7 - Community wing door

Please DO NOT WORRY if your child uses the wrong door. We will make sure everyone gets to their classroom whichever door they use. It will become much clearer to the children as the week goes on as we will using the same doors at break, lunch and home time. 😊

This week we will say goodbye to our wonderful P7 class of 2026. On Thursday and Friday we celebrated their time at St Ronan’s with their Leavers’ Assembly ‘Turn Back Time.’ In addition to revisiting primary years past through songs and sketches, P7 also paid tribute to our DHT Miss Lister in a scene called ‘Outside Miss Lister’s Office!’ They then presented Miss Lister, who retires from St Ronans’s next week after 25 years at our school, with an acer tree for her garden.
Here’s looking forward to a wonderful final week together P7 and Miss Lister.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Summer Fayre on Wednesday night, together you be help raise approx £1300 for St Ronan’s PTA!
This money goes towards school trip transport, STEM resources, library resources, outdoor learning activities and social events.
A special thank you to our Teachers, Leithen Rovers Players and Standard Bearer and Lass Elect for volunteering to sit on the Dunk Tank, the Rotary Club and local businesses for donating prizes to our raffle, John Adam’s Bakers who donated the rolls for our BBQ, Tweeddale Pipe Band for our background music! Thank you!

Last Friday, 6th of June, our netball team took part in a tournament competing against other schools in our cluster and even against 2 teams of pupils from Peebles High School.
Our team did well and were a credit to the school.
Special well done to Amanda for being voted one of the 'Players of the Tournament'.

I would also like to say a huge congratulations to Gregor for being announced as next years team captain, and to Amanda for being announced as co-captain.

That is netball all finished for the remainder of the year but I look forward to seeing some fresh new faces when we come back after summer.
