Fantasia children's reports will be sent out on Monday 17th July sometime after 9am. There will also be a letter telling you which Year One class your child will be in and who their new teacher will be. Thursday 20th July will be the last day of this academic school year. It has been a wonderful year of learning for all of Fantasia children and we have most certainly been 'Fantastic Fantasia!' It has been my utmost pleasure to teach your children this year. I wish them all the best on their continued journey through Fulbridge Academy.

This week we had to open Fantasia Doctor Surgery as there were SO many poorly patients in Fantasia that needed advice and help. Thank goodness that we also have some very sensible and talented doctors, nurses and receptionists to look after these ill patients. Appointments have been made. Poorly knees and hands have been injected and bandaged. High temperatures have been checked and calpol has been prescribed. Hearts and lungs have been checked to make sure they are beating and breathing well. Heights and weights have been written down. Eye charts have also been used. I think Fantasia children will all be well cared for at Fantasia Doctor Surgery!

Yesterday was reception sports day. Thank-you to all the parents who came and supported your child. Fantasia children are in Shakespeare House and were all 'ready for action' in their red tops!! Shakespeare didn't win this time but Fantasia children tried their best and put lots of effort in!! A big well done!!

Fantasia children have been enjoying our 'The Enormous Turnip' story this week. The children have been talking about healthy eating while making and eating delicious vegetable kebabs! Look at this wonderful 'vegetable garden' that these boys worked together to construct! The boys shared with the class about all the different parts of the garden that they had made.

Fantasia and other reception children went on the playground today at 11am to join the whole of Fulbridge Academy and our nation for a one minute silence to remember the victims of the Manchester terror attack.
This was discussed with reception children in a sensitive way focusing on how we can keep our classes and school a happy and safe place to be.

Thank-you to all parents who joined Fantasia children Thursday morning for our Parental Engagement morning. The children enjoyed showing the parents how they learn in Phonics.
Just a reminder that Reception Sports Day is on Friday 9th June at 9.30am til 11am. All parents are welcome to come and support your child. Fantasia children are in Shakespeare house so need to wear a red t shirt with black shorts or jogging bottoms. Please give your child a named water bottle on the day. If it is hot please provide your child with a named sun hat. See you there!
