Today was a day talking about speed. How fast or slow the different media was as they played with the chutes. We even built a really big chute outside with our loose parts. The cars in the paint made fantastic prints as some of the wheels were large and some really small. We whizzed them in and out the paint 🎨

Autumn has arrived 🍁🍂 These are a couple of our activities today. We are washing our harvest vegetables and learning all about where they come from. A big thank you for harvest donations; the children have made harvest wrapping paper and will be wrapping the recycled shoe boxes today to fill with food for our neighbours. 🍂🍁

We needed ingredients to make our scones today so off we popped to the shops. Along the way we practiced our ‘stop look listen’ and even had a look in the pond enroute, alas no ducks, one child thought they may be hiding underneath ☺️

For those of you worried about the heat, I just wanted to reassure you, we have air conditioning which works like a dream ☺️ our garden is shady in the afternoons. We are mindful to ensure the children drink lots and restrict morning access to the sunny parts if necessary ☺️

Please remember to send your child with a sun hat please and apply sunscreen before they come. If they are staying all day we are happy to reapply please pop a sunscreen in their bag. Many thanks
