🌟 Pilgrim Academy in the spotlight! 🌟

We’re so excited to see Pilgrim featured in Grimsby Live, showcasing our fantastic OPAL Parent Afternoon! 💚

We had a fabulous time welcoming our parents into school to see OPAL in action, join in the fun and experience the amazing play opportunities our children enjoy. A huge thank you to all the parents who came along, got involved and helped make the afternoon such a success!

We’re so proud of how far we’ve come on our OPAL journey and can’t wait to see what the next year brings! 🌈✨

It has officially launched as an Outdoor Play and Learning School - and kids and parents alike are already loving it

🌾🍂 What an AMAZING Harvest Festival we’ve had today at Pilgrim Academy! 🍂🌾

We are so incredibly proud of the generosity shown by our wonderful school community! 💚

A huge thank you to Elaine Norton for coming in to speak to our children about where all the Harvest donations go and how they help support families in our local community. It was lovely for the children to learn about the difference their kindness can make. ❤️

And just look at our Harvest pyramid… 20 BOXES! 📦🤩 That means we have collected over 200 donations! What an incredible achievement!

A massive thank you to all our amazing families for your kindness, generosity and continued support. Every single donation makes a difference, and we couldn’t have done it without you! 🥰

Pilgrim have been awarded with being part of the Top 10% Most Improved FFT Primary Schools in England for the Last Academic Year!

Thank you to all of our families for all of the consistent efforts you put in to ensure your children are in school as much as possible. The effort does not go unnoticed!

🌾🍂 Our Harvest Donation Pyramid is growing! 🍂🌾

Our Harvest Festival donations are coming in thick and fast, and the children are absolutely loving watching our donation pyramid get bigger and bigger each day! 🥫❤️

We still have another week for donations to be brought into school before our Harvest Assembly next Monday, so there’s still plenty of time to get involved.

If you fancy having a little clear-out of your tin cupboard, or would be so kind as to add an extra couple of tins to your weekly food shop, we would be incredibly grateful. Every single donation makes a difference. 🛒🥫

All donations will be given to our local community through Immingham Food Larder, helping to support local families and those who may need a little extra help. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far — the children are so proud to see our pyramid growing! 🌟

Let’s see how big we can make it before next Monday! 🎃🌾🥫

Congratulations to our Y5/6 girls' football team who came 3rd in the ESFA tournament at Clee Fields this morning. ⚽
This qualifies them for the Ramsden Home Interiors Cup Quarter Finals which will take place in the Spring term. They represented the school brilliantly and there were some excellent goals, including 6 in one game for Poppy. Sofia was in goal and made an excellent save in our final game which ensured a 3rd place finish. Well done, girls!

Yesterday a group of year 5 and 6 boys went to Clee Fields in Grimsby to participate in the Year 5/6 ESFA Boys Football Competition. ⚽
They had some tough competition but showed great resilience and worked hard as a team. They all supported each other and represented Pilgrim well!

Watch this space for the Girls football next week...
