Ashill Primary School & PreSchool - Ashill, Somerset Ashill Primary School is part of the Academies for Character and Excellence Trust. We are a small school in Somerset and have a preschool on site.

The Pre-School have their own enclosed outside space as well as access to fully enclosed playgrounds to the front and rear plus another outside play area. Our student council have been very busy this year arranging a number of fundraising events including the big breakfast, pop up shop and cake sale. The money raised was split to pay for an end of year party for all of the children and the remainder going to a charity chosen by the student council.
The charity chosen was Ferne Animal Sanctuary and our lovely student went along this week to deliver an amazing £200.
Well done to everyone involved and we are so pleased that Ferne Animal Sanctuary are the recipients.

Our children had a wonderful day at the recent trust event 'ACE Olympics'.
They performed with enthusiasm and gave it their all. They demonstrated true team spirit by cheering on their friends.
Thank you to the parents who came to support.
We are so very proud of them all.

Another year has come to an end and I would like to say a huge thank you to my wonderful work family for all of the laughter and support you have all brought each and every day. At times it has been difficult and stressful but you all make it that much easier. Thank you 🥰

I would also like to thank the wonderful Ashill School PTFA for your fundraising this year, without this tge children would not have the enrichment experiences they have had. Thank you 🥰

Thank you too to our wonderful families for always supporting our beautiful school. You all make our jobs so much easier with your support and understanding (and accepting my tears, sorry!). Thank you 🥰

Finally our children! What can I say, I am so proud of you all. You embrace school life with a gusto and make us laugh with your antics and characters. Never ever forget how amazing you all are 🥰
Good luck to our 2 school leavers in your next adventure. And our preschoolers starting 'Big school'. Be proud and fly high. 🥰

Look who we found at Ashill! 🥰 Supersheep has had a very busy week. Upon arrival he made his way to hedgehogs class where he helped to make some nutritious soup and flatbreads.
He joined year 2 making number bonds to 100.
supersheep had so much fun on the school trip, spotting lots of different animals before enjoying his pasta lunch.
Uhoh, we seem to have left Supersheep behind at Wildwood. We hope someone finds him soon and he is able to have some more exciting adventures.

Our summer fete this year will be Saturday 4th July 12-2pm at our wonderful school 🥰☀️

There will be lots of lovely things to do including our rainbow raffle with hamper and voucher prizes, a game zone with goodies bags, other fun stalls, a BBQ and lots more 😁

We hope to see lots of you there for a fun filled afternoon ⭐️
