A few months back we created a new aquatic habitat for one lucky lady. Munchkin, the African Pygmy Crocodile, she now has settled in nicely and the display is popping to life.

The ecosystem pond has been carefully considered to ensure it works with all her needs. Highly clean water, basking areas, and underwater hideout spots to ensure she feels at home.

There is a basking beach and clambering logs as if she was right at home in the Central West African streams and swamps.

Staircase complete and waterfalls well on the way. The clients are thrilled with the way this feature is coming together. We are super stoked with how it is turning out and cannot wait to push on to the finish line.

Strapping, setting, layering and rocking n rolling. Our swim pond project is progressing very nicely. We’ve got our stairway in, nearly intake wrapped up and the outline of our waterfalls created. Tomorrow we form the edges and crack on with the wing walls. Soon our clients will be swimming with the fishes!!

Precision is key and there is limited room for error when you play with the big boulders but, it’s a hell of a lot of fun!

All moving along nicely, a huge 7.5m long log has gone in very well and we’ve even got a grand 1.2m wide waterfall framed out with a pair of circa 4 Tonnes each boulders.

Week 2 completed on our current build. Contending with the heat and dust but that’s not stopping us having a lot of fun creating this one of a kind interactive water feature.

Back at it this week. A portion of the massive liner is in and we are cracking on. First up is our stacked walling providing a smooth transition from the main entertaining patio. This will bring the dragonflies close and personal, the fish circling at an arms length; oh my, this is going to be a cool feature.

0ver 200 Tonnes later and we have the back bone of this swim pond! Few finesse areas and footings before sand and liners! Great progress and enjoying the sunshine.
