We have been really impressed with Evolution Jiu Jitsu and the confidence it has given our children. They are learning how to stand up for themselves, communicate clearly and deal with conflict appropriately.

The instructors are extremely patient and will go over techniques as many times as needed, making sure the children understand before moving on. I particularly like the practical approach to self-defence, teaching children to start with verbal de-escalation and only use physical intervention when necessary, with the focus always being on protecting themselves and getting away rather than fighting or hurting someone.

The classes are also great fun, with games and activities that help the children build friendships and a real sense of community. I also really value the focus on respect, manners, responsibility, citizenship and caring for others alongside the Jiu Jitsu training.

We are extremely impressed with the instructors and the club. I would highly recommend Evolution Jiu Jitsu to any parent looking for a club that builds confidence, teaches practical skills and helps children develop important values in a fun and supportive environment.
