Excited to announce I’ve accepted the position of Head Professional at Ilkley Golf Club! Huge thanks to everyone at Sand Moor for their support—looking forward to this next chapter.

I couldn’t be prouder of the Junior Section at The Sand Moor Golf Club! They’ve raised over £20,000 for the Candlelighters Charity, which supports children and families across Yorkshire in their battle against cancer.

Last month, our juniors completed an Ultra Golf Marathon, playing an incredible 1,000 holes in just one day. That’s over 275 miles walked! From 6am to 7pm, they showed nothing but determination, putting the cause first without a single complaint. Their inspiration came from one of our own, who displayed incredible resilience and strength during his fight against this terrible illness last year.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who made this possible – from the sponsors, donors, auction prize contributors and winners, to the volunteers, parents, and the entire Sand Moor Golf Club community. Special thanks to Schofield Money Limited for their extraordinary generosity, donating over £7,500 from their charity auction, and to Enterprise for their incredible £2,000 contribution.

Your support has helped raise a tremendous amount that will make a meaningful difference to families across Yorkshire.
