🌟 What a fantastic first day back! 🌟
Wow, what a wonderful first day back in school we have all had! It has been lovely to see our children back, happy, smiling and ready for another exciting year of learning. 💙
We are now very much looking forward to welcoming our new Reception children in the morning — and then our Sacred Heart family will be complete for 2026! 🥰
A little reminder that you are all warmly invited to our ‘Meet the Team’ event tomorrow (Thursday 3rd September) from 3.30pm. We would love to see you there!
🏫 All classrooms will be open, giving you the opportunity to come along, explore our new spaces and see the wonderful learning environments your children will be learning in this year.
There will also be short talks in each classroom:
🔹 3.30pm – Mrs Fisher in Bluebell
🔹 3.45pm – Miss Cheetham in Wharfe
🔹 4.00pm – Mrs Burkinshaw in Wheatley
🔹 4.15pm – Mrs Horne in Olicana

🎉✨ We are incredibly proud of our amazing Year 6 children! 💙

What a wonderful evening we shared on Wednesday as we celebrated with our Year 6 pupils and their families at our Year 6 Leavers' Party. It was a joy to see so many smiles, laughter, and special memories being made as we marked the end of their primary school journey. 🌟🎈

We wish each and every one of our Year 6 children the very best as they begin their exciting new adventures. Keep shining—we know you'll achieve amazing things! 🌈📚

⚽️ England may be out of the World Cup, but there were still plenty of celebrations at school today! 🎉🍦☀️

A huge congratulations to our amazing Year 6 children on their fantastic SATs results! 🌟 We couldn't be prouder of all their hard work, determination, and resilience.

What better way to celebrate than with ice creams in the sunshine alongside their buddies? Smiles all round and memories to treasure! 💙😊

A huge thank you to Emily for coming into school last week, following our Health Week, to share all about her profession as a physiotherapist with Bluebell and Wharfe Class.

The children listened so attentively and were fascinated to learn about the important work physiotherapists do to help people. They especially loved getting hands-on with the resources Emily brought in and enjoyed exploring how they are used.

Inspired by what they had learned, the children continued their learning through role play outside, taking on the role of physiotherapists and caring for their ‘patients’.

Thank you, Emily, for giving up your time to inspire our children and share your expertise. We really appreciate your support! 💙
