Addingham Pre-School We are a independent charity run Pre School based in our own area within the Primary School. We would love to hear from you!

Addingham Pre School was established around the 1960’s and has been a
successful and popular Early Years setting within our lovely village
community. We are an independent and charity run Pre School based in a delightful
dedicated area within Addingham Primary School. We are Ofsted registered (EY416548) and at our last inspection January
2020 we were delighted to receive an overall “Good” grad

ing with some
outstanding aspects. We have a highly dedicated team of 4 members of staff, who are all fully
qualified and all share many years and a wealth of experience caring and
working with children. Children are able to commence with us from 2 years ahead of starting school. We are open 38 weeks of the year and our term dates are in line with those of Addingham Primary. Our sessions/ hours from September 2023 are as follows:

We open everyday Monday- Friday 8.00am-4.30pm
A variety of sessions are available throughout the day to meet your childcare needs

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum,
endeavouring to create a rich learning environment to allow children to
be enthusiastic, confident and happy learners. We carefully plan
activities, opportunities and experiences designed to cater for every
child’s needs. We have 3 separate delightful playrooms incorporating an excellent range
of resources and also direct access onto our purposely designed
partially covered outdoor play area. Please contact us if you would like any further info, arrange a visit or

We are beyond delighted and so proud to be able to share with you that we have recently had an Ofsted inspection and we were awarded a ‘STRONG STANDARD’ in all areas 🌟🌟🌟🌟
It’s a new grade under a new Ofsted inspection framework and in Ofsted’s words, it means settings who gain this ‘are working above the standards expected of them and displaying excellent , consistent work that’s making a real difference to their children’
