💛 Thinking about joining us this term? 💛

I know that joining a new class, especially in those early days of motherhood, can sometimes feel a little daunting. So I thought I’d share some words from one of our lovely TinyTalk families…

“TinyTalk has given me and my baby so much in the 8 months we’ve been attending. It was a safe place in the early days of getting out and about and figuring out new motherhood, and has helped Penny’s communication at home and also her socialisation with other children so much.

It is a fun and educational thing to do with my baby — but just as importantly, it’s also brought me some new friends who ‘get it’. I can genuinely say we both look forward to Fridays when our class is all week — so much so, I decided to continue to have Fridays off work when I return so that we can keep up the classes!”

💛 I am so grateful to be a little part of your motherhood journey.

If you’re joining me for the first time this term, please know that you’ll be warmly welcomed. Our classes are a friendly, relaxed space to enjoy some special time with your little one, support their learning and development, and hopefully meet some other parents who get it too. 💛

If you’ve already booked onto one of my Thursday classes, I know that coming somewhere new for the first time can sometimes feel a little daunting — especially when you’re juggling a little one too! 🥰

So I’ve put together this little welcome video to help you get to know the venue before you arrive. 🎥✨

🎉 A BRAND NEW CLASS DAY IS COMING TO SHARDLOW! 🎉

I’m so excited to be bringing my classes to The Shakespeare Inn in Shardlow for the very first time! 💛

And because this is a NEW venue + NEW day + NEW classes, I wanted to give you a little welcome tour so you can see exactly where you’ll be coming, where to park, where the toilets are and what to expect when you arrive. 👀🎥

Baby signing doesn’t stop when you leave class — this is where the magic really happens. 💛

At just 16 months old, this little one is using the BSL sign for BOOK at home — showing just how naturally signing can become part of everyday family life.

Our approach is simple: see it, say it, sign it. 👀🗣️🤟

You see the sign in class, hear the word alongside it, and then practise it together at home during the moments that matter — reading a favourite story, having lunch, getting dressed, playing… all those little everyday opportunities.

And the more the whole family joins in, the more opportunities your little one has to see, hear and use their signs.

Because baby signing isn’t just something you do in a class.

It’s something you bring into your everyday life. 💕📚

My Baby Signing and Toddler Talking trial sessions are just £8.50! 🙌

With my new term starting on 7th September, why not come along and try a class during the first week of term?

It’s the perfect opportunity to see what my classes are all about, enjoy the fun and decide whether you’d like to continue. 💛

Simply book your £8.50 trial class, come along and give me a try — and if you decide you’d like to continue, you can then book for the remaining 13 weeks of the term!

And the best part? Those 13 weeks include lots of seasonal fun, including my Halloween and Christmas classes! 🎃🎄✨

It’s not just for mums and little ones — dads, grandparents, aunties, uncles and the whole family can all be part of your child’s signing journey. 🤟✨

There’s something so special about learning together, sharing those little milestones and celebrating every new sign along the way.

As this lovely grandma says, being able to get involved in her grandson’s journey and learn alongside him is such a joy. 🥰

Hi, I’m Sam 👋 The face behind TinyTalk Erewash, and the person usually found with a teddy bear close by! 🧸💛

I’m a mum to my two beautiful daughters, aged 10 and 14, I’m also a solo parent, so I truly understand the joys, challenges and beautifully chaotic moments that family life can bring. I decided to become a TinyTalk teacher when my youngest was just three months old, which means that this September I’ll be celebrating 10 years of teaching baby signing! 🥰

Before TinyTalk, I spent around 10 years working in private nurseries as a qualified nursery nurse, including as a nursery manager and baby room manager. Babies have always had a very special place in my heart, and nothing brings me more joy than watching little ones grow, develop and discover the world around them.

I’m also BSL Level 2 qualified and a trained children’s sleep consultant, so alongside our signing and singing, I’m always happy to share a listening ear, advice or a few helpful tips during social time at class. I’ve experienced plenty of parenting adventures myself too — including an unexpected home birth with my second daughter! 😅

When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me crocheting, gardening, enjoying a trip to the cinema, spending time with my girls or making happy memories on a beach trip. 🌿🧶🎬🏖️

I’m not just your TinyTalk teacher — I’m a mum who has been through many of the same stages, questions, worries and wonderful moments that you may be experiencing right now. And I feel incredibly lucky to be able to share a little part of your parenting journey with you. 💛
