This summer, we had the pleasure of working with an organisation specialising in family court services and supporting the welfare of children and young people.

As part of this project, we installed sensory equipment across four different locations in Chelmsford, Derby, Peterborough and Portsmouth. Each space features a selection of interactive and visual sensory equipment, including our LED Borealis Tube, LED Infinity Panel and LED Tower Light Panel.

The interactive elements encourage exploration and engagement, while the movement, colour and changing light patterns can provide a simple visual distraction and calming focus during periods of stress, anxiety or emotional overwhelm.

It’s been fantastic to see one project bringing sensory provision to multiple locations, helping create more supportive environments for children and young people wherever they access the organisation’s services. 💙

A bright, colourful and spacious sensory hub completed for Brampton Village Primary School in Huntingdon ✨

Transforming what was once a store room, we had plenty of space to create a flexible sensory environment, with colourful soft padding surrounding the walls, floors and architectural features.

At the heart of the space is one of our popular Interactive Borealis Tubes, complete with interactive user controls that allow students to create their own dancing light sequences 🌈⭐ 👏

The generous floor space also gives Brampton Village Primary plenty of flexibility! The new hub can accommodate group sessions, be used for a variety of activities, incorporate loose sensory toys and soft furnishings and even be expanded with additional equipment over time as more funding becomes available.

Sensory spaces don't have to start with everything at once. A fantastic foundation can be created around the space and budget you have, with the flexibility to develop and build on it over time.

From under-construction to a fully functional calming sensory space ✨

For students with autism, ADHD and other sensory processing needs, low-arousal environments can provide a calm, structured space to reduce sensory overload and anxiety, offering a place to step away from the demands of the classroom.

And these spaces don’t have to be filled with lots of different sensory elements and activities. Sometimes, a carefully considered selection of calming features is all that’s needed to create a comfortable space where students can pause, regulate and reset.

Take a look inside this small calming immersive hub we created for a school in Northamptonshire. The space features soft furnishings where students can sit back and relax, a fibre optic corner offering both visual and tactile sensory experiences and surrounding colour-changing mood lighting to help create the right atmosphere.

We also included a media projector to give staff the flexibility to connect personalised content for students to access during their time in the space!

This summer has definitely been the season of soft play! 🤩

Our in-house design, manufacturing and soft play teams have been busy crafting bespoke, made-to-measure elements to bring a whole host of fantastic soft play spaces to life.

From custom floor and wall padding to safe, durable soft play equipment, we’ve had an amazing selection of projects over the past few months. Creating spaces that combine high-quality, durable products with engaging sensory experiences, designed to withstand everyday use and be enjoyed for years to come.

Featuring cool green and blue tones throughout the padding and soft furnishings, the space also incorporates a range of sensory features, including mood lighting, an LED projector and a fibre optic infinity den. 💚

Sensory Soft Play Systems are becoming an increasingly popular addition to education, combining the movement and physical benefits of soft play with interactive sensory features.

For our latest Sensory Soft Play project, we created a dedicated zone within a classroom at Denham Green Primary Academy in Buckinghamshire, giving pupils a space where they can move, climb, explore and take a little time out when they need it.

The space features a mix of soft play movement and climbing equipment, alongside interactive visual sensory features, creating plenty of opportunities for active play and sensory exploration.

Happy August! ☀️ We're kicking off the new month by sharing this fantastic new soft play installation at Dovers Green School in Surrey!

We first worked with the school back in 2025, designing and installing a bespoke sensory room, so it was great to be invited back a year later for project number two.

With the summer holidays in full swing, our engineers were able to complete the installation while the school was empty, making sure everything was ready for the children to enjoy when they return in September.

The result?👀 A fun, engaging soft play space that's perfect for climbing, crawling, balancing and exploring!

A huge thank you to Dovers Green School for choosing to work with us again. We can't wait to see the children enjoying their brand-new soft play space! 💙

Sensory Room Upgrade = Complete 🔨⭐🙌

We recently visited Blessed Dominic Catholic School in London to give their existing sensory room a well-deserved refresh!

The room already featured a selection of sensory equipment from a different provider, but we were tasked with improving the safety, comfort and overall experience of the space.

Our upgrade included:
✅ Installing surrounding wall, floor and radiator padding for enhanced safety and protection.
✅ Choosing a calming palette of blue padding to create a more relaxing environment.
✅ Servicing and reinstalling the existing bubble tube, along with securely refitting the acrylic mirrors.
✅ Integrating a Bluetooth sound system with ceiling speakers, allowing staff to easily play calming music, themed audio or personalised playlists to suit every session.

Sometimes, a thoughtful upgrade is all it takes to transform an existing sensory room into a safer, more immersive and engaging environment for those who use it every day.
