m an operational background in leisure, and also work full time frontline for East Midlands Ambulance Service. All of our trainer assessor's are qualified through Nuco Training and the Royal Lifesaving Society UK, the UK's leading drowning prevention charity. As well as trainer assessors, we also have experienced mentors within our team who are able to guide and support new trainers through their probationary period.

Excellent work TEAM ECHO who won our ongoing team competition as part of our National Pool Lifeguard Qualification! 💪

Throughout the weak, our candidates are split into teams to win points. Points = Prizes! 🏆

Through quizzes, qCPR, teamwork challenges, incident training and scenarios, our teams work to earn prizes for their team!

This is a bit of fun but also helps to build teamwork, communication, strengthen underpinning knowledge and practice technical skills to further strengthen our candidates abilities!

The WINNING team is then CROWNED on our final day! 👑

It was close, but WELL DONE team ECHO! We hope you enjoyed the challenges and your prize!

What an end to a fantastic week with our lovely Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, tutored by Adam, Stacey and Abi! ❤️

That’s 21 newly qualified lifeguards following an intensive 5 day course in some very HOT conditions! 🥵

We was so proud watching them develop over the week and smash their assessment yesterday afternoon at the Nottingham High School. 🌟

Are we ready for a break? Absolutely!
Are we going to get one? Nope!
We’re straight into our one-day Open Water Lifeguard RPL tomorrow at Spring Lakes Water Sports followed by first aid training for more clients.

We often get asked, what happens if I don’t pass the assessment at the end? We have every confidence in our candidates but sometimes, it’s not the result we would like! But that’s ok!

We re-train, continue to develop their skills and try again! 💪

Ever thought about becoming an Open Water Lifeguard? Have you attended a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course? Read Jenson’s story below on his journey from complete beginner to Open Water Lifeguard in 6 days.

“From training as a complete beginner with no previous lifeguarding knowledge, to becoming an Open Water Lifeguard!

I’m incredibly proud to share my journey into lifeguarding and everything I’ve achieved along the way.

It all started with my 5-day National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course with ASB Training, taught by Adam and Stacey. The course was extremely well taught, and the training, support and knowledge I received gave me the confidence and skills needed to achieve my NPLQ qualification.

Just a week later, ASB Training gave me the opportunity to take the next step and complete my Open Water Lifeguard (OWL) qualification. Thanks to the knowledge and training from my first 5-day course, the OWL qualification only required 1 day of training.

Once again, the course was incredibly well taught and prepared me brilliantly for working in an open water environment. I managed to secure employment at Spring Lakes Water Sports, a busy water park, where I now work as an Open Water Lifeguard.”

Our next one day Open Water Lifeguard course is running this Sunday at Spring Lakes Water Sports!

CONGRATULATIONS to our 5 lovely candidates who passed their Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK Open Water Lifeguard Qualification on Friday Spring Lakes Water Sports! A solid effort by the candidates who smashed their assessment.

A big well done to Seth who delivered this course as part of his probationary period as a newly qualified Trainer/Assessor. We was blown away by the candidates feedback!

Our next Open Water Lifeguard course is running on Sunday 16th August, for those who hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. This will be our last course of the season so don’t miss out as places are limited.

We have had a fantastic day today supporting the team at LOWLINE, delivering our Life-Threatening Bleeding CPD course.

Some excellent engagement and discussions surrounding high-risk events and risk of life-threatening bleeding 🩸

A practical and interactive course taught by pre-hospital clinicians, brining real life scenarios and experience into the classroom 🚑

When faced with a life-threatening bleed, you literally have MINUTES to SAVE A LIFE! 🚨

The team are now confident in recognising life-threatening bleeding, recognising the deteriorating casualty and hypovolaemic shock, pressure dressings, haemostatic dressings, and applying tourniquets. We tailored this course to our client, offering a bespoke training package based on their needs.
