YIKES! The summer is speeding by and we've been having lots of fun at Icklewoods - one of the best places to be in the heat! Thank you all for coming 💚

Taking a little break before we're back in September, starting with our Wild Ones Home ed/Flexi school sessions on Tuesday 8th at 12:30-14:30 with Katie from ☀️
Followed by our Icklewoods Ones sessions on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9:45-11:45

We have been BUSY BUSY BUSY!! 🐝

We have kept cool in the best place under the trees! We have made ice cream, played with ice and water (lots!), painted with frozen berries, celebrated mud day, created a barefoot walk, looked at bugs (always!), made flower crowns, sun prints with some being used for father's day and planted sunflowers as well as the usual digging, climbing, balancing and making music - told you we've been busy over the last 6 weeks!! 😂

However, we have actually been taking it all SLOW (don't let the music fool you!) - very important this time of year when there's so much else going on!

Our Wild Ones Holiday Club (drop off) and Family Fun Sessions (stay and play) are now available to book.

Beautiful few weeks at Icklewoods Forest School, with lots of different friends visiting!

We've celebrated world bee 🐝 day, be nice to nettles week (with yummy nettle crisps 😋) and talked about all the different things we can do with Elder and their flowers (after asking and thanking!) including stickmen, jewellery, cordial and delicious elderflower fritters 🤤

Such a lovely way to get outside and connect with nature - the more we look, the more we see, the more we discover, the more we learn, the more we care 💚

It's been very busy with most sessions being fully booked (thank you!!) so please make sure you book ahead where you can - link in bio.

Look forward to being back with you all next week Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Hope you're having a fun half term! ☀️

🎊 ICKLEWOODS TURNED 1! 🎉

Thank you so much to everyone who celebrated and made it all so very very special! I feel like I'm still floating on a cloud over 2 weeks later!

Love our Icklewoods family - it wouldn't be the same without you 💚

🌼🌼🌼 What a fun first week back 🌼🌼🌼 All about the incredible dandelion! We made trumpets, blew bubbles with the stems, had dandelion fritters with dandelion syrup (so much goodness!), used the heads like crayons and threaded the closed heads to make puff ball garlands 🌼🌼🌼

Looking forward to some fun in the sun this week, ending with a special event 🎉

Already fully booked (thank you!) for this week but still have a few spaces next week and after so may be best to book ahead - Wednesdays and Fridays (9.45-11.45), as well as every other Saturday (10-12) in Ickleton, South Cambridgeshire (near Saffron Walden, Essex)
