Every little step counts. Keep learning, keep growing.🌱

Totally agree. Kindness and care is the basis of everything.

At ELLA, we believe in the power of storytelling because every story matters.

Every child walks into the classroom carrying a story of their own. A story shaped by their experiences, their family, their culture, their dreams, their current circumstances, and their emotional well-being. Sometimes, we may not know what a child had to overcome just to make it through the school doors that morning.

No child should ever fear going to school.

Every child deserves to walk into a classroom and feel seen, heard, safe, supported, valued, and loved. They deserve educators and communities that recognize that who they are and what they carry with them matters.

A classroom should be more than a place to learn. It should be a place where children feel they belong, where their voices matter, where their potential is recognized, and where they are given the opportunity to grow into who they are meant to become.

Happy new school season to every child, family, educator, and school community.

May every child be given the space, encouragement, compassion, and opportunity to blossom. 🌱❤️

There are far worse things to concern myself with then what brand your child is wearing......

I saw a comment online recently that said Forest School looked like children were 'just messing about.'

The funny thing is... that's exactly what many people see.

What they don't see is the reduced stress, physical activity, social development, creativity, resilience, nature connection and environmental stewardship developing underneath it all.

In today's video I explore why 'messing about' might actually be one of the most important things children can do."

Check it out on my Youtube Channel (ForestSchoolLou) and let me know what you think. 🙏

Ooooh i like this!

Imagination is where curiosity begins 🌸

When children spend time outside noticing tiny details their imagination quietly comes alive. And from imagination grows creativity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

Sometimes the simplest moments in nature spark the biggest ideas. 🌿
