Hawkwise Official page of Hawkwise, a local Falconry Centre in Leicestershire providing a wide range of displays, activities and courses.

We are a small centre based at Cattows Farm.We provide interactive Falconry for visitors to the site and to corporate clients across the UK. Tuition, birthday parties, school visits, weddings and photography are all part of our day to day work. We appeal to all age groups and abilities. If you wish we also can tailor make an interactive experience for you or your group.

Witch-crafting and Owl handling
Saturday 12th September • 11 AM - 1 PM

Start Halloween preparations in this unique experience.
We will keep the group small to ensure you’ll get some you time whilst crafting your own Witch with all materials provided.
You’ll also have the opportunity to meet and handle the Hawkwise Owls and hear facts and folklore too.
Merlin the cat will also be in attendance.

Home Ed Meet the Meateaters
15th September 1pm -2pm
Adaptation, behaviour, biology, habitat, environmental impact, food chain and more in this interactive handling session with the carnivores of the bird world.

Children will fly the Hawk themselves whilst learning about how the bird uses teamwork to be successful, habitat, adaptation and super senses.

Static photography with handling opportunities.
Outdoor and indoor opportunities to capture your own image and perhaps use for art Inspiration.
Natural history information whilst you take your photos on your phone or camera.
