Absolutely over the moon to be recognised as an Inclusion Friendly Setting by Dingleys Promise. All of the staff have completed several training courses to secure our knowledge of inclusive education. Dingleys Promise is an organisation which promotes inclusive practices within education and the bigger picture. “We support children through tailored specialist support in our early years centres, provide outreach support to families, spread inclusive practice through training for professionals and lobby decision makers for policy change to improve the lives of children and families.” 💚

We have loved completing our sponsored walks this week. The children have walked through woods, across fields, down steps, through long grass, along narrow tracks, got lost and met some lovely people in our community. Plus they managed to raise £1250 for the Hazel Dormice!!!

And the winners of the family pass to Wildwood are….. Evelyn, Dolcie and Arthur. Well done to everyone who raised money for the Hazel Dormouse, we have been checking the amount everyday and are so grateful. We had some big fundraisers so a huge thank you to them and their friends and family. ❤️❤️❤️

We have raised over £1000!!! We can’t believe it! Thank you so much everyone for your generosity towards our fundraiser. The children have really enjoyed learning by about the Dormice and we are so pleased to give this money to Kent Wildwood specifically for their Hazel Dormouse campaign. Our families are just awesome!! 🤩 🎉🐭❤️

How we keep cool during a heatwave. Lots of drinks breaks then playing in the sandpit, water play and reading books in the shade. ☀️☀️🚰🚰

Grace from Wildwood came to visit us today and showed us some videos and pictures of Hazel Dormice. She also brought in some seeds eaten by Dormice, a nest and some poo! 💩. We have been gifted 3 family passes for Wildwood to give to the highest fundraisers so keep those donations coming in! 🎊🎉

Our fundraiser is off to a brilliant start… all the 4’s! Keep the donations coming in, the children are really enjoying the dormouse project. We also have someone from Wildwood coming to visit us and share how we are helping the Hazel Dormice.
