💫Celebrating Our Amazing Class of 2026!

Yesterday was a day of celebration, pride and joy as our Year 11 students collected their GCSE results!

We're pleased to share that early indications show in most subjects our students are outperforming national averages, with an increase in strong passes (grades 5-9) in English and maths compared to previous years.

But beyond the numbers, what truly makes us proud is the resilience, determination and character our students have shown. Some have excelled beyond all expectations, whilst others have overcome significant personal barriers, every single achievement deserves celebration.

Our students are now heading off to amazing new opportunities from sixth form colleges to apprenticeships and beyond. Congratulations Class of 2026, we're incredibly proud of you all!

Results day can feel like a defining moment for young people, particularly when expectations are high or outcomes do not match what they had hoped for.

Our latest guide supports parents, carers and educators in helping young people approach results day with perspective, reassurance and confidence.

The guide explores:
• Setting the tone early and reducing pressure before the day
• Normalising different outcomes and preparing for next steps
• Staying calm, present and supportive when results arrive
• Exploring options and alternative pathways together
• Encouraging reflection without rumination
• Celebrating strengths, qualities and achievements beyond grades

With clear, practical advice, this resource helps adults support young people before, during and after results day, whatever their outcomes.

Gaming is a huge part of many young people's lives, but some online features can blur the line between gaming and gambling in ways that aren't always obvious.

Our latest guide explains what skin betting is, why it's becoming more common, and how parents, carers and educators can help children stay safe online.

The guide covers:

• What skin betting is and how it works
• Why virtual in-game items can have real-world value
• The risks of unregulated third-party platforms
• Social pressure and influencer promotion
• Warning signs to look out for
• Practical steps to reduce the risks through conversations and parental controls

By understanding how skin betting works, trusted adults can spot potential risks early and help young people make safer choices online.
