Speech, Language and Communication Early Years Parents and Carers Drop-In sessions are taking place across Nottinghamshire.
Come along to one of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s early years drop-in sessions for children under 4 years old if you would like to talk with us about your child’s talking and communication.
No need to book! Just pick a date and come along with your child at any time during the session.

❄️ NO COATS IN CAR SEATS ❄️

As we approach the colder months this is so important to remember. You may notice we never give your little ones back with a coat on unless we know for certain that you’re walking.

In the photo it suggests alternative ways to keep your little ones warm instead of using a coat in the car:
▪️Heat up the car first
▪️Keep a blanket in the car for after buckling
▪️Layer up thin clothing
▪️Place a hot water bottle in their seat before they get in (remove from the car before they get in)
▪️ Put their coat on backwards after you've done the straps - ⚠️ I wouldn’t personally recommend this one unless just draping it over the legs, as it obstructs being able to get the child out quickly in an emergency

Im sure most of us already know this but it’s always good to spread awareness. Let’s keep those little ones safe in their seats 🥰
