💚 Giving Back to Our Community! 💚

Today, our Year 7 pupils visited the Wokingham Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust network, to deliver the generous donations collected by our Dolphin School community.

Our pupils spent the afternoon helping to sort donated items, learning about the vital work the foodbank does to support local families and reflecting on the importance of kindness, generosity and helping others.

It was a valuable opportunity to see first-hand how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. 💚

We're also looking forward to welcoming Brian from the Wokingham Foodbank to tomorrow's assembly, where he'll share more about the organisation's work and the impact it has on our local community.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed donations and helped make this experience possible! 🙌

Freedom to Learn. Freedom to Make a Difference.

✨ We’re ready for a new school year! ✨

The countdown is almost over… term starts tomorrow! 🎉

While our pupils have been enjoying their summer break, there’s been plenty going on behind the scenes at Dolphin as we’ve been busy creating some fantastic new spaces for the year ahead.

🔨 A brand-new Design & Technology Lab for making, creating and bringing ideas to life.
🛋️ A new Years 7–9 Common Room — a space to relax, socialise and spend time together.
🎨 And our new Pre-Prep classrooms, specially prepared for our youngest pupils as they begin their next adventure at Dolphin.

It’s been a busy summer, but we can’t wait to see these spaces filled with creativity, laughter and learning once again.

Tomorrow, the doors open and a new chapter begins. 💙
Welcome back, everyone! 🐬

🎨📸 Take One Picture?! We certainly struggled with that today! 🤩
Our Enrichment Group enjoyed a fantastic trip to the National Gallery, where they had the incredible opportunity to see their own artwork displayed as part of the Rodean Learning Centre’s annual Take One Picture Exhibition.
What a proud moment to see our creation hanging on the walls of this iconic London landmark, alongside masterpieces by celebrated artists such as Canaletto, Leonardo da Vinci and Monet. An inspiring and unforgettable experience for everyone involved! ✨🖼️

🎯💥 Locked & loaded... game on! Our Year 8 pupils had an action-packed day of Laser Tag as part of their Activities Week celebrations! From tactical teamwork and lightning-fast reflexes to plenty of laughter along the way, it was the perfect opportunity to make even more unforgettable memories together.

As they reach the end of year 8, some prepare to move on, with lots looking ahead excitedly to being part of our first ever year 9 cohort in September 2026! 💙🐬

🐑🚜 Reception had the best day at Bucklebury Farm!

We had so much fun feeding the animals, enjoying a tractor ride, and exploring the farm. Along the way, we learned lots of new words, asked great questions, and discovered more about the world around us.

A wonderful day full of smiles, adventure, and hands-on learning! 💚✨
