We have had some really great days these last few weeks, where no two days have been the same!
Its easy to forget that we dont need massive fancy, expensive things to "keep kids entertained", by getting to know each child as an individual, what engages their play and effectively their learning, we can use the simplest of things...last years flower box provides hours of fun, digging and scooping, and a simple deconstructed goal post, balls and a decorators stand had the childrens interests for ages as they tried to roll the balls through, figuring out which angle made them pop out the bottom, which balls were too big etc and of course...LIMBO!
Other days, its trips to a castle, a park or a forest walk where climbing and important risky play is supported and encouraged for positive development, independence and confidence
Some times, its spent indoors to role play, experience some extra sensory resources, build fine motor skills through craft or mark making or just to relax in a warm, welcome and homely space.
We even took out first beach trip of the year this week, getting our fingers and toes in the sand;
there is lots and lots on offer each week here, with your childs needs and interests fully met and engaged, and welcomed into a home from home as part of our family. With the summer approaching some rare spaces are coming available so keep an eye out for this announcement in coming weeks, along with some other big news! or get in touch now for more information!
